How Does The Hydro Assist Fuel Cell System Work?

What Is A PICC And How Does It Work?

Although the price of crude oil in the world market has eased somewhat, there is still the specter of the world economic slowdown to be concerned about. One of the biggest costs a household has is gas, and in these uncertain times people are clamoring for more gas mileage, asking car makes for better fuel economy, and anything that can be a gas saver.

The good news for those who cannot wait for the car manufacturers is that there are a lot of options available out there. There are many new developments in the area of bio fuels. There is now home made bio diesel, and home bio diesel conversions kits. But for those not keen on manufacturing their own fuel, there are other options such as Hydro Assist Fuel Cells, and one other promising system called Pre-Ignition Catalytic Converter (PICC) technology.

This technology is in the early stages of development. But even at this early stage it is already showing its promise - up to five times gas mileage increase.

In truth this is an old technology being used in a new way. Every factory made car has a Catalytic Converter, but is installed post ignition. It is installed in the car’s emission system and is used to break down gas that is left un-burnt in the engine. The catalytic converter breaks the gas molecules into smaller particles that can then be incinerated in the tailpipe before being released.

PICC technology aims to use this system in reverse, breaking down the gas into smaller particles before sending it to the engine. The theory is that because the fuel is broken down before it reaches the engine, a more efficient burn will occur. That is, theoretically, how the PICC will work.

How can fuel savings be achieved, and how much?

PICC is seen by researchers to compliment modern fuel injection technology introduced by car manufacturers. Fuel injectors control the entry of just the right amount of fuel into the combustion engine improving a car’s fuel consumption. Adding the PICC system means less fuel is needed to output generate the same amount of power from the engine.

In one PICC scientific test, a 318 V-8 Chrysler engine (a known gas guzzler) was put to the test on a brand new dynamometer the same as Detroit manufacturers use. It was run at 3,000rpms under a 50% load for an hour. Pre PICC modification, the engine ate up 18 pounds of fuel. Converted this approximates to 22 mpg. The second run was conducted with the PICC on, and the same test was run under the exact same conditions. Posttest checks confirmed the engine used only 2 pounds of fuel, a 9-fold increase for a 200 m per gallon mileage.

PICC is almost ready, but even in the development and testing stages, it is beginning to create a buzz in the car community. When it is finally perfected, it would mean more savings for consumers.

HAFC and PICC - Save Money on Gas

Although we have seen pump prices ease somewhat because of the drop in global crude prices, there is still the global credit and economic crunch weighing on people’s minds. People are now focused on saving money and reducing expenditures, not gong out and spending.

Gasoline (for our cars) accounts for a large portion of our household budget. Therefore, if we can lower our consumption, find fuel saving options, and increase our gas mileage, we’ll be in a good position to weather the coming economic storm.

Add that ionized gas with brown’s gas and you get an explosive mixture that has more power, and less emissions. More powerful fuel means less fuel needed.

Some studies have shown that the HAFC system can produce gas savings of a minimum of 50%.

What is PICC?

PICC or Pre-Ignition Catalytic Converter system is an experimental fuel improvement system that is in the developmental stage. But this early, it promises to up gas mileage by a potential 5x more.

Presently, cars have working catalytic converters, and are installed in the car’s emission system. It is now being utilized for breaking down the large gas molecules that are un-burnt in your engine, breaking them into smaller particles and incinerated in the tailpipe.

The PICC is simply the same system - but in reverse. Instead of the fuel being broken down after being used in the engine, the PICC system breaks it down pre-engine use. Gas burns better in vapor form indeed gas will only burn when it is a gas. Break down gas further and theoretically, the fuel will be more explosive, burn easier and more powerfully necessitating less fuel injected into the engine.

The best thing is that these two technologies pay nice with each other, meaning one can be installed side by side. Imagine two technologies that improve your mileage significantly - it could well mean an end America’s dependence on foreign oil.

Brown’s Gas - A Revolutionary Solution

Water burns and we don’t mean when it’s hot. If new discoveries are to be believed, water can be turned into fire.

Whether you believe it or not, you can use water to weld metals, cut through steel, and even use water to fuel your internal combustion engine.

How is this possible you ask? By using an experimental system that turns even ordinary tap water into a new type of gas called Brown’s Gas. Brown’s gas is simply water broken down into its constituent gas parts, hydrogen and oxygen. When these two gases are combined at a certain pressure and lighted, it creates an implosion of tremendous of heat and energy.

Brown’s gas was discovered by California inventor and Professor Yul Brown. He has developed a system (since patented) that will convert plain tap water to a stoichiometric mixture of hydrogen and oxygen. This is essentially another state of water besides solid ice, water, or steam.

According to the professor, Brown’s gas can be used for many things. It can be used for desalinating water, welding metals together, creating a vacuum to pump up water, sublimate hard metals such as tungsten, and cut through thick steel.

There are already some early market versions of Brown’s Gas Welders available in the market, and though still looking like they’re in the prototype stage, are very serviceable. Studies have shown that the HAFC system can improve gas mileage in internal combustion engines by at least 50%. This is a really dramatic increase in fuel efficiency, although of course mileage gains will vary from car to car. The savings will also depend on the usage and load of the car. The beauty of the HAFC System is that it will work on all existing gas based cars. And best of all, it will be compatible with other emerging gas saving technologies such as Pre-Ignition Catalytic Converter technology or PICC.

These are currently some of the promising uses for Brown’s Gas, and as shown by the Brown’s Gas Welding machines and HAFC technology in cars, it is a discovery that will greatly benefit many industries particularly the construction and the auto industry. One thing is for certain, once the use of HAFC goes mainstream, it will greatly lessen America’s reliance on foreign oil - one of the great victories for Brown’s Gas.
